Greendesigners.org is an organized group of designers (from all design disciplines) who are dedicated to environmental causes in our cities. We are passionate “design activists” who want to use our design skills and talents for a greener planet.

OUR MISSION IS SIMPLE:

Design impacts what we do and how we live. As design has such a large influence on our environment and the quality of our lives, designers are in a unique position to positively change the planet by the clients we choose to work with and the design decisions we make.

Like most urban dwellers, designers want to support greener initiatives, but they often feel that their personal design decisions will have little impact on the big problems facing our urban environments. There are thousands of designer citizens in major design centers around the world. What if we used the ‘power in numbers’ principle to organize a single group effort?

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

A lot – if you get organized. If you are passionate about design and the environment, we need your help to further our cause. We are in the early stages of organizing green designers globally. If you would like to get involved or recommend other designers, please join our Facebook group.
